Ioana & Alexandru – photographers, husband and wife

Eduard – cinematographer, video editor

TwoLittleBoxes was founded many years ago by Ioana and Eduard – childhood friends with a shared love for storytelling. Along the way, Alexandru (Ioana’s husband) joined the team, bringing his own vision and creative eye behind the lens.

We specialize in documentary-style wedding photography and filmmaking, especially outdoor weddings. We’re not tied to any location, so wherever your story takes place, we’d love to be there to capture it.

Our approach is personal, calm, and low-key. We love working with natural light and real moments, using our “little boxes” to tell your story honestly and beautifully. For us, it’s not just about delivering photos and films, it’s about creating a meaningful experience. From our first coffee together to the hugs on your wedding day, we often go from strangers to friends.

Outside of weddings, Ioana is a documentary filmmaker and film professor, Alexandru works as a tax consultant, and Eduard is a creative director. These backgrounds shape how we think, how we see, and how we tell your story.

We believe in quality over quantity, which is why we take on a limited number of weddings each year. This allows us to be present for every couple we work with.
