Ioana & Alexandru – photographers, husband and wife

TwoLittleBoxes was founded many years ago by Ioana and Eduard – childhood friends with a shared love for storytelling. Along the way, Alexandru (Ioana’s husband) joined the team, bringing his own vision and creative eye behind the lens.

We specialize in documentary-style wedding photography and filmmaking, especially outdoor weddings. We’re not tied to any location – so wherever your story takes place, we’d love to be there to capture it.

Our approach is personal, calm, and low-key. We love working with natural light and real moments, using our “little boxes” to tell your story honestly and beautifully. For us, it’s not just about delivering photos and films – it’s about creating a meaningful experience. From our first coffee together to the hugs on your wedding day, we often go from strangers to friends.

Outside of weddings, Ioana is a documentary filmmaker and film professor, Alexandru works as a tax consultant, and Eduard is a creative director. These backgrounds shape how we think, how we see, and how we tell your story.

We believe in quality over quantity, which is why we take on a limited number of weddings each year. This allows us to be present for every couple we work with.
